EFM assumes full Cargo Sales Agency of Air Niugini Cargo Limited for Solomon Islands

The General Manager of Air Niugini Cargo Limited, Gus Kraus, together with the Honiara Branch Manager of Express Freight Management (SI) Limited (EFM), Jebs Benito, formally announced the full Operation of all Air Niugini Cargo business to/from Solomon Islands will be handled solely by EFM as of 9th October 2017.

This comes after renewing the GSA (General Sales Agency) for Cargo agreement from last week. “What this means, Kraus said; was that EFM will, from next Monday, be taking responsibility of all Air Niugini Cargo into and out of Solomon Islands through Henderson Airport” So in fact all Cargo arriving into Honiara from the 9th October will be handled by EFM through securing and bond transfer of such cargo to the EFM bonded warehouse in Ranadi Industrial Area.

Kraus and Benito are very optimistic that this new arrangement and responsibility will further boost cargo services in Honiara.This is supported by the almost daily flights of Air Niugini to/from Honiara and together with sales and marketing activities, EFM will offer competitive rates.to ensure business in the Solomon Islands grows and prospers.
